What Is Roto Festival?
The name gives away one of the most unusual features of the event. Roto Festival is also described as the “Festival delle Rotoballe” – the Festival of Hay Bales.
Rather than using the setting of a conventional urban music festival, the organisers create a warm rural atmosphere with large hay bales, countryside-style decorations and atmospheric lighting close to the River Nera.
