Spoleto Saporito is a three-day food festival celebrating the flavours, aromas and rural traditions of Umbria. From 4 to 6 September 2026, Piazza Garibaldi in Spoleto’s historic centre will host tastings, culinary demonstrations and a market featuring selected producers and businesses from the Valle Umbra and Sibillini area.
Visitors will be able to discover regional agricultural products, traditional foods and artisan specialities representing the identity of this part of Umbria. Particular attention will be given to certified, traditional and sustainably produced products.
The event is a good opportunity for travellers to combine Umbrian food culture with a visit to Spoleto. Piazza Garibaldi is located at the lower entrance to the historic centre, from where visitors can continue on foot towards Corso Garibaldi, the medieval streets and Spoleto’s principal monuments.
